ACRYBOND Liquid Waterproofer is special formulation of acrylic polymers and modifiers, and available in liquid form for use as a waterproofing additive to portland cement mixes to improve adhesion and mechanical properties. Cement mixes prepared with Acrybond are suitable for interior or exterior use, possesses a hard, tough and fast curing mix with good resistance to most common chemicals. Modified mixes are not affected by continual exposure to water. Provides positive adhesion over questionable surfaces.

The Acrybond film displays excellent flexibility, excellent resistance to ultraviolet light and heat, excellent scrub resistance and high adhesion to many surfaces. Acrybond is a milky white liquid; has a viscosity slightly thicker than water; and possesses freeze-thaw stability through six (6) cycles. The resins are directly related to those used in tough "plexiglass".

• Breathes thereby preventing water vapor build-up which can cause blistering, flaking and peeling that leads to water-proofing failure.

• Has unlimited possibilities as a decorative coating - can be applied using brush, trowel, roller or spray (e.g. Mortar gun)

• High bond strength. Once applied, it is almost impossible to be removed by either chemical or abrasive method.
